Abel has been putting up some lovely “punishment fantasies inspired by —-” posts recently, and so, when I saw this image, it immediately caught my eye as something that could inspire any number of interesting scenarios….
How do you think this woman ended up in that situation? What will happen next?
Here’s what my imagination comes up with:
Mrs. Victoria Rosiquim was a widow — her husband, Major General Rosiquim, having died in India. Ever since then, it must be admitted, Mrs. Rosiquim, was very taken with men in soldier’s uniform. It was undoubtly her strong attachement to her late husband that caused her to invite soliders over for tea. And it was undoubtedly her tender sympathies that were the reason for her keeping them with her overnight.
However, whatever the reasons were, soldiers began to be late for Reveille, or missing during the afternoon and evening drills. When Colonel Rattanbottom brought these increasing infractions to the attention of General Flaybum, he also shared the intelligence he had gathered by overhearing the men speaking of Mrs. Rosiquim and her myriad attractions.
Mrs. Rosiquim was quite surpised when General Flaybum and Colonel Rattanbottom paid her a visit, but she welcolmed them into her drawing room with growing excitement. However, she was to be even more surprised when General Flaybum explained to her that, due to her inconstant and even wanton behaviour (not at all fitting for the widow of a Major General), she was to be punished.
She was ordered to strip down to her drawers, and kneel. The General read aloud her punishment to her, while the Colonel held the General’s cane. Mrs. Rosiquim was to get six from the cane for each man she had entertained. “Oh, no, sir!” Mrs. Rosiquim cried! “That would surely kill me!”
After the punishment was over, they both took her, as she sobbed. The General explained to Miss Rosiquim that she would entertain only himself and the Colonel from this point on. And she would get regular doses of the General’s cane to keep her a constant and well-disciplined woman.
(Yes, I know I’m ignoring the fact that the General is in civilian clothes! If you have a better story idea, go ahead and leave a comment!)

Not sure I could come up with anything better, and certainly wouldn’t have picked better names for the characters…. they’ve made me laugh outloud!
